Our Story
While BD Homes Cleaning may have a July 2022 birthday, the experiences and lessons learned to form it happened years ago in various parts of the world. Our Owner, Anna founded a high end event planning business in the beautiful city of Belo Horizonte in Brazil. She used her gift for building relationships to create a vast network of professionals that put together some of the most beautiful memories for her clients. Whether it was a massive wedding for thousands or a birthday celebration, Anna had an uncanny ability to make her clients feel taken care of beyond their wildest expectations and to have so much fun that they still talk about the events today.
After 8 years, it was time for Anna to experience a new adventure. She sold her business in Brazil and set out for the Middle East to work with VIP clients where she would take her passion for 7 star service to another level. She worked on yachts and in palaces developing the housekeeping protocols and training staff. Ultimately, she found herself managing all of the needs of her guests down to the finest details of fabrics and materials.
While she loved the experience, it was time for Anna to come to the US to be closer to her family. It was the start of the Covid Pandemic and she had no idea what her next steps were, but she believed in herself. In March of 2023 she met her husband Chris and a few months later they married. The two were so crazy that they also decided to start a cleaning business together and that was where BD Homes began. With a vision to create a business that would blend the desire for fun, family, and hard work.
Since July of 2022, BD Homes has served clients across the Capital District. Our reputation for being reliable, trustworthy, and focused on details has led to a booming business. Although we’re young in business years, we believe we’re creating something special for our clients and for our team.
Meet The Owners
Anna Barsante-Delaney
Co-Owner, Cleaning Expert
Anna brings an extensive amount of hospitality experience including owning an event planning company for 8 years in her home country of Brazil. She sold that company and spent 2 years training housekeepers and cleaners to the highest of standards for high net worth individuals in the Middle East. She brought all of that experience to the US to start BD Homes in 2022. Anna also owns and operates top performing Air B&B’s back home in Brazil. Her attention to detail is second to none and her drive to exceed client expectations is unmatched.
Christopher Delaney
Co-Owner, Marketing & Business Management
Chris grew up in Troy and is a graduate of CBA. He worked for over a decade in the service industry in Albany before taking on sales, operations, and client management roles for multiple Fortune 500 companies. He started his consulting and coaching business in 2016 and has worked with hundreds of small businesses and entrepreneurs globally. He now focuses on podcasting, content creation, and immersive event production.
